Adidas’s Three Stripes traded for 2 bottles of Whiskey!

The founder, Adolf Adi Dassler, was a young passionate athlete. He regularly visited athletes seeking knowledge about the world of sports. When one such day Adolf met the founder of Karhu sports. He was running short on capital post WWII. So, the owners struck a deal to sell the logo for €1,600 and 2 bottles of Whiskey. This fateful encounter changed the destiny of Adidas! Even if the brand names were not integrated into design, at least 99.99% of people could recognize and name the brand each logo represents. Don’t you think?
