Bots replace Humans at McDonald’s?

We understand Covid-19 pandemic intensified the pick-up food culture. So, McDonald’s conducted a simulator programme which showed customers don’t just prefer picking food from a drive-thru over dining in. They also felt more comfortable ordering through a talking box than a breathing human who may be sick. A survey found 78% of restaurant operators did not have enough employees either. What McDonald’s did was Improvise. Adapt. Overcome. They introduced a combination of Humans and robots in their outlets. It made things fun, contactless and easy. Now the debate is, what will the future be like: Bot vs. Human or a New Collaboration?
